How we designed WebStores 2000 to support maximum performance?

As our guide to web application performance and scalability we used the 25 "rules" published on Microsoft's MSDN web site: "25+ ASP Tips to Improve Performance and Style" ( http://msdn.microsoft.com/workshop/server/asp/asptips.asp )

We have also used other articles and resources, the result is that WebStores 2000 is complied with all the standards Microsoft set for web application performance and scalability.

How did we tested WebStores 2000 performance and scalability?

We used a web stress software tool from Microsoft called: "Microsoft Web Application Stress ", (http://webtool.rte.microsoft.com/) It is a simulation tool that is designed to realistically reproduce multiple browsers requesting pages from a web application.
The results for WebStores 2000 where more then satisfying, it passed all tests successfully. In addition, we got positive feedback from one of our biggest client (http://www.urbanQ.com), that is getting millions of hits per month.
They confirm to us their store is performing well under heavy traffic.

Given the above (Lab test and real world case), we believe that WebStores 2000 is a high performance application that can scale.
