First no drip animal water bottle I've ever gotten that actually works. However the plastic twist on piece broke before I had it for a day.
UPDATE: the company had shipped me a new water bottle. I am very excited because this is the first no drip water bottle I've ever found. I will be careful not to tighten it to much. They appreciated me original feedback and emailed me. Very nice helpful people. Got my water bottle with spare parts from the company with a hand written note from Betty!!!!!!! What an awesome great company.

Victory at last!!!!
Oh my God. The first Guinea pig bottle that doesn't leak...but for real, it doesn't. My Guinea pigs are water bottle terrorists. They destroy all water bottles, create a savage pond of wet blankets and hay. Alas! I have defeated them with these technologically perfectly designed bottles for Le Guinea a la Pigs! I win. Thank you Choco Nose, you are my hero.

I've had my two guinea pigs for about 2 years now and the most frustrating thing has been with their water bottles constantly leaking. Their cage was always all wet and it made the cage disgusting. I finally decided to research water bottles to see if any existed that didn't leak and these had the best reviews so I thought I'd try them. I'm so glad that I spent the extra money for these because THEY DON'T LEAK!!! My guinea pigs love them and their cage is no longer wet all the time! They are small, but I'm still filling them up less than the other ones that were bigger because they don't leak like the others. Also, the other water bottles I had were really annoying trying to get them off the cage to refill them and with these, it's really easy to remove and put back on. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

Show your pet how to use it, do not assume they know how to use it.
I am glad I bought this for my green cheek conure, Bebe. When I placed the bottle in the cage, I showed him how to drink out of it by simulating in front of him. He observed me and he licked the end of the spout right away. He got praised. We repeated a few more times and he got it. Conure is very intelligent just as 3-4 years old child. He now has learned to get extra water if bowl water gets dirty. For me, I feel better leaving this bottle and two other water bowls when I travel a couple days a month.
PS: Years ago I had to travel over a week so bought this type of bottle to replace the water bowl. I never had a chance to let my canary trained so he could be able to drink out of this type of bottle. I believed my canary would figure out on his own. What a dumb of me and a stupid human I was! I found him dehydrated and died at the bottom of the cage when I came home from the trip! That was the one of the worst things happen in my life. I wish this does not happen to none of our pets.

Drip, Drip, Drip...
The main impetus for giving this product only 1 star is because in its title description is the statement "No Drip". This product succumbed to the fate of most every other product I have tried - it leaks. It starts out innocently enough - a drip or two at the onset when it is first filled up. I figure that is to be expected as the 'ball' hasn't set yet. Now, I didn't sit and watch the bottle all day long, but after I filled the bottle all the way and placed it for my pigs on the cage, the bottle was empty within six hours and the bedding was soaked. I did watch briefly as one pig (there are two in the cage) drank and I saw some water coming off him. However once he was done drinking, the bottle did just what it says it would not do - it dripped.
I think the 'patented' has more to do with the fact you can change the bottle (although I could not find the right size) rather than the 'no drip' portion, but I could be wrong. Off the the drawing board for another possible remedy to the dripping water feeder.

Does not leak! Secure attachment to cage! Worth the money.
Finally, a water bottle that does not leak and attaches firmly to the side of our Guinea pigs' cage!! I was so frustrated with the mess from wet bedding; it smelled all the time and the piggies' bottoms were getting dirty from sitting in it. This one does not leak so bedding stays dry. The bottle that comes with it is fairly small but you can swap out a larger bottle easy peasy if desired. Once the bracket is attached to the cage it stays attached and holds the bottle steady. This has improved the quality of life for our pets and the humans in our home. It is worth the triple cost over the basic bottle from the big box store!

I like the Choco bottle
I like the Choco bottle, I really do. However my pet rats won't use it. I bought this as a spare back-up to my Lexit glass water bottle, and my rats prefer the Lexit bottle to this one. My only guess is that rats haven't figured out how to get water out of it, as it has a little different process in the tube. (The metal tube contains a straw inside. Water will still come out, but it does feel different than a normal ball unit). I tried placing the Choco in the top level of my rats cage (where my rats prefer to sleep/eat/play), and moved their old water bottle to the bottom level. My rats would rather descend 4 ladders to get to their old water bottle than this new one. I really wanted the Choco to work out, but I'll still keep the Choco for emergencies.

like a bottle of drinking water
I have yet to put water in this yet, but right off the bat one thing I'm noticing is the bottle is made of a very thin plastic, like a bottle of drinking water, and I can easily squeeze it. I would have expected it to be made of something a little sturdier. Glass would be nice, but I knew I wasn't buying a glass bottle, and at the very least a sturdier plastic should have been used.
Aside from that, it looks nice, and I'm happy with it. I will update my review once it gets put to the rest inside the cage with my rats.

Best Bottle Ever - Has Never Dripped a Drop
I didn't think it was possible but the third time was the charm. After suffering through two other popular bottles (one plastic and one glass), we took a chance on these bottles for our guinea pigs and it is the absolute best. Honestly, it has never dripped a drop - EVER! I was so used to our other bottles emptying out so quickly, I worried the guinea pigs were not drinking when this bottle stayed full for days! Apparently, the drip drops do empty out the bottle quick.

Works great, a little large for rats
Update 1 yr later: Rats definitely prefer my other bottles but will use this one if they have to. The bottle is still working excellently.
This is an awesome water bottle. It never drips and is built pretty durably, with easy on/off removal. My rats (approx 1 yr old) have a bit of trouble using it because the ball is a bit big for them. At first, this was hilarious as they would spray their faces with water and run around all crazy. They eventually got the hang of it, but they still prefer the smaller bottles I have.
