Promotions, Coupons & Gift Certificates

Promotions
You may set a discount (a % or a fixed value) for a product, many products or for all products for a certain period of time.
You may also give one or many free items when a user buys a certain product, or when a user buys over a certain amount.

In the store the products that use this kind of promotion are the Female Pants.
For the first item you get a discount, and also for each item in the store you get a free scarf.
The admin can set the promotion details from "Promotions, Coupons & Gift Certificates" -> Promotions Manager


Coupons
You may set a coupont for a certain value or a certain % and send its ID to one or many users.
When the user checks out he'll may enter the coupon ID and get the specified discount.
You can set the number of times a coupon may be used in store, and the time period in which it can be used.

In the store, at check out you may use the coupon ID 12345 that will give you a %10 discount.
The admin can set/change the coupon information from "Promotions, Coupons & Gift Certificates" -> Coupons Manager


Gift Certificates
The gift certificates are a lot like the coupons, the difference is that the gift certificates are bought by some customers in order to be given as a gift to other customers. The admin can make the price of a gift certificate lower that it's real value, or allow the gift certificate to be used just for buying certain products.

In the store, you may see the gift certificates in the "Gift Certificates" department.
The admin can set/change the coupon information from "Promotions, Coupons & Gift Certificates" -> Gift Certificates
